5 Easy Date Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Literally, it’s tomorrow (in case you forgot)!! If you are like me, you haven’t made fancy reservations, but you still want to make the day special for your significant other. Here are 5 easy date ideas for Valentine’s Day!

5 Easy Date Ideas

1 | Cook Dinner Together at Home

This one is a classic but goodie. Who doesn’t love cooking together at home with their significant other?! For an easy date night idea, try a new recipe together. This is one of our favorite easy dinner cookbooks, but another awesome way is having everything delivered to you. By ordering a Blue Apron box all the ingredients and recipes are delivered straight to your house. These make for such a fun date night while creating an amazing meal together!

2 | Go for a Walk in the Park

In case you haven’t realized yet, I love taking walks in the Parks around Cincinnati (Sharon Woods has become our new favorite, but we also love Ault Park). It is an easy date idea allowing you to catch up with your significant other while taking in the beauty of nature.

3 | Watch a Classic Movie

Watching movies together is always an easy date night idea, but instead of the recent blockbusters turn to the classics for a fun new date night. Relive memories with Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Gone with the Wind, Titanic, or even the Notebook through amazon prime. It is a perfect way to spend an evening together! Throw in some homemade popcorn with extra butter to make it even more special!

4 | Go Ice Skating

As much as I don’t want to admit, it’s still winter & what better thing to do than go ice skating! Public skate is an awesome date night to have fun learning a new skill together. In Cincinnati, there are many options to choose from that are perfect for date night.

5 | Create Art Together

Last, but not least, another great easy date night idea is creating something together. Everyone has heard of the sip & paint classes, but you can also easily create art together at home. All you need is some supplies (i.e. canvas, paint brushes, & paint) and follow an online video (such as this fun ocean tutorial) to learn how to paint together.
