The Perfect Trench for Spring
Trench are such a classic jacket and as soon as the weather starts to get warmer, I love layering with a trench jacket. This J. Crew Trench is my favorite and it’s the perfect trench for spring 2020!
Why do I love this trench? Well, because it is literally perfect for spring!
First off, the fabric is heavy duty – repels water, keeps wind out, & is warm enough for spring weather! For us that means cooler mornings and evenings and this coat is great in for in-between seasons like spring! This coat is also so well made from the fabric to the stitching that it will last for seasons to come!
This trench is also so classic and chic! You literally can’t go wrong with a camel trench coat for spring and this is such a beautiful camel color! I also love the buckle details! The length is perfect hitting just above my knees.
Good Alternative Trenches
If this coat is sold out, fear not, there are tons of amazing options for great spring trench coats. You can’t go wrong with the Everlane Classic Trench, J. Crew Factory (under $100!) or Cole Haan Packable Trench (great for travel). There are perfect staple trenches. If you want to splurge, I can’t recommend enough a classic Burberry Trench (such as this one or this one). Some other good alternatives are:
How to Style the Perfect Trench
Trench coats are so easy to style in the spring. I typically pair mine with my Vince blanket scarf and my black Kate Spade Purse. These classic staples look great with the trench and help provide contrast to the outfit. Plus the scarf adds a little more warmth on those cooler days!
