After a whirlwind spring and summer of travel in Europe visiting Italy and London, it has been nice settling back into Cincinnati for the later part of summer. We have been enjoying having outdoor BBQs, exploring the zoo, & basking in the heat. The Perfect White Dress

Before we jump into how to accessorize a white dress, let me talk about why I love this amazing Madewell Dress (old, similar CeCe Clairborne V-Neck Eyelet Dress (under $70!) and Romwe V Neck Eyelet Dress). There is something about eyelet lace in the summer. It makes a plain white dress a little dressier and helps make me feel a hundred times more put together. I also love the empire waist of this dress (and the CeCe & Romwe dresses). This makes it look slightly more fitted while keeping it open & airy for hot summer days!

How to Accessorize a White Dress

My go-to for this summer not only has been this amazing Madewell Dress (old, similar CeCe Clairborne V-Neck Eyelet Dress (under $70!) and Romwe V Neck Eyelet Dress), but also pairing it with my favorite sunglasses, straw purse, & sandals.

Sunglasses

You guys probably know by now, but I love my old blue Tory Burch Sunglasses (similar Saint Laurent Kate sunglasses and Ray Bans 56mm sunglasses)! They are great for every season (also worn in my 5 Spring Style Essentials and with my favorite preppy romper) and looks perfect with a white dress to add a fun pop of color!

Straw Purse

One of my favorite accessories for summer is this straw purse! This circle purse (still can’t believe its under $25!) is great for summer. If you missed my post from last week on 3 ways to style it check it out! The size is the right amount to hold everything you need for the day. I also love the long strap. This makes it so easy to explore without worrying about constantly holding your bag. 

Sandals

To complete the look, I paired it with these Sam Edelman Bernice Slide Sandals in white to complement the white dress. These sandals are super comfortable and so easy to slide on for a day of exploring.
