We had only 24 hours to explore all the beauty that was Napa wineries. It was a short drive from San Francisco which made it the perfect day trip and escape from the city. We set out to explore 3 Napa wine houses in order to make the most of the short time we had – Castello di Amorosa Winery, Mumm Napa Sparkling Wine House, & Del Dotto Winery & Caves. It was a sunny day. Luckily, the weather in Napa was so much warmer than San Francisco. I opted for a light weight Banana Republic dress (old, similar here) and paired it with Paul Green Morea lace-up sandals because it was so warm. Pairing these with my Tory Burch Sunglasses (old, similar here, here and cheaper here) made the perfect outfit for wine tasting in the sunny weather.

Castello di Amorosa …
We started the day at Castello di Amorosa (tasting $30-45/person, reservations not required). This beautiful castle was nestled into the Napa hills and reminded us of being in Italy. This was no mistake though because it was modeled after a 13th century Tuscan castle and was built using the same medieval techniques in its construction. Because of this, we took a step back in time to explore the picturesque grounds and sample their exquisite wine. The wine itself was so exceptional and our favorite was the Gewürztraminer!
Mumm Napa …
Next up, we visited Mumm Napa (tasting $25-35/person, reservations not required). It was a modern day sparkling wine house and served only sparkling wine in a variety of flavors. We sipped sparkling wine (our favorite being the traditional Rose) while enjoying vineyard views. If stopping by the wine house wasn’t classy enough, we also explored their on-sight art gallery.
Del Dotto Winery & Caves …
Our last stop of the day was Del Dotto Winery & Caves (tasting $45-75/person, reservations required). This Italian inspired winery was modeled after the Venetians and had all the same world-class charm. We felt like royalty from the moment we stepped inside. We sipped wine under frescoes and were surrounded by traditional Venice style. After enjoying the wine, we were able to explore the caves and enjoy the exceptional beauty.
